Day 1: Lucknow – Nepalganj
Pick up from Lucknow airport around 12 noon and drive down to Nepalganj, lunch enroute and arrival at at Nepalgunj by 5.30 PM. Transport Innova car. On arrival Check in to Hotel Central Plaza or similar. Relax and before dinner tour briefing at 7PM followed by dinner at 8.15 PM at Hotel. Go to bed early and have good sleep as Day 2 will be hectic.

Day 2: Nepalganj – Similkot – Hilsa – Taklakot
Early morning breakfast at Hotel and transfer to Nepalgunj airport by 7 am, fly to Simikot (altitude 2960 meters). Flying time to Similkot from Nepalganj is approximately 1 hour. On arrival at Similkot wait for your turn to board
Helicopter on adjacent helipad for a 25 minutes flying to Hilsa border town between Nepal and Tibet China.
On Landing at Hilsa you have to walk about 900 meters to Nepalase Immigration for exit stamp on your passport and thereafter you will board the waiting luxury bus to proceed to Chinese Customs and after check proceed to Taklakot (altitude 3,900 meters) an hour drive and complete immigration formalities and proceed to Hotel Himalayan and check in and rest .You will be staying in this hotel for high altitude acclimatization for two nights.

Day 3: at Takalakot Hotel Himalayan
Rest day at Takalakot Hotel Himalayan for high altitude body acclimatization

Day 4: Taklakot – Mansarovar – Darchen
This is the day every Pilgrim is waiting for to darshan of sacred mansarovar lake and mount kailash.
Lake Mansarovar at an altitude of 4590 meters is a beauty to be experienced with mount kailash as back drop.
After breakfast board the bus for a very exciting and pleasant drive of one and half hours towards Mansarovar lake. Enroute stopover at Rakshashsthal (Ravansarovar) a salt water lake where you get first glimse of Mount Kailash take photographs and then drive further to Mansarovar lake . Once you reach Mansarovar lake parikrama of Lake (120KM) will start by bus and enroute parikrama you will stop over at a suitable location for bathing in the lake .The beauty and vastness of Manasarovar lake can not be explained
in words but has to be experienced . From the lake you will see the southern face of Mount Kailash which is considered as the holiest face. See and enjoy the view of mount kailash as much as you want while doing parikrama of Mansarovar lake.After the parikrama group can do a pooja on the bank of Lake and then proceed to Darchen an hour’s drive and check in to Hotel Himalayan. Rest of the day is free . Today the group Sherpa with each Pilgrim will decide if they could be taken for Parikrama.
This will solely depend on the health of the Pilgrim specially those who are above 60 years. Ponny charges of Chinese yuan 2900 will be collected from those who will undertake Parikrama. Parikrama has two options. Just day one up to Dirapuk(13 KM) almost flat terrain and complete parikrma taking two and half days. Pilgrim not undertaking parikrama will stay in the hotel for 3 nights till the parikrama group returns to Darchen on Day 7 by noon.

Day 5: Darchen to Dirapuk (altitude 4860 meters) (1 Day of Parikrama)
After morning breakfast entire group departs at 8 am to Yamadwar by Bus and after prayers at Yamadwar those who are undertaking Parikrma either full or only up to Dirapuk will commence their Parikrma. Others will return back to Hotel and will have 2 free days.
Parikrama Pilgrims will select their Ponny , and Porter by lots and starts trekking to Dirapuk 13 KM . Trekking will take 4 hours and on reaching you will stay in camp and all meal will be provided.
You can see from Dirapuk most beautiful northern face of Mount kailash. Sherpa will monitor your Oxygen levels in intervals .Early morning at 4 am you can see Golden Kailsh from your camp if you are lucky not to have cloud cover.

Day 6: Dirapuk to Zhutulpuk (altitude 4760 meters)
Dirapuk to Zhutulpuk (altitude 4760 meters) Day 2 of Parikrama Pilgrims doing full parikrama after breakfast will continue Day 2 of trekking to Zuthulpuk at 4760 meters altitude and 22 KM trek from Dirapuk taking approximately 9 hrs passing Dolma La pass (gauri Parbat) and seeing Gaurikund. Overnight stay at Zhutulpuk.
Pilgrims taking only Day 1 of Parikrama up to Dirapuk will return back to Darchen and stay overnight at Himalayan Hotel Darchen.

Day 7: Trek from Zhutulpuk to Darchen
Trek from Zhutulpuk to Darchen and Drive to Taklakot Pilgrims doing full parikrama will after breakfast will trek down to Zhope where the bus will be waiting to take the Pilgrims to Darchen Hotel to join the rest of the group and then the entire group will drive back to Takalakot for overnight Stay at Hotel Himalayan
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Tea/ coffee with cookies and Soup, Dinner
Accommodation: Himalaya view
Room: Double sharing
Day 8: Taklakot to Nepalgunj
After early breakfast the group will leave hotel 7.30 am and drive down to Hilsa and board helicopter to Similkot and take connecting Flight to Nepalganj and Check in to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 9: drive to Lucknow by car
After breakfast at hotel drive to Lucknow by car to take return flight carrying fond memories of a challenging travel.
